Join concert-goers from around the globe who make the yearly pilgrimage to a 400-acre mini pop-up village created each year in Camrose, Alberta. It’s an amazing sight and what makes it extra-special is the neighbourly feel that abounds.
There’s a reason BVJ was voted the Canadian Country Music Association’s Country Music Event of The Year in 2001, 2004, 2006, 2009, and 2010. It’s because of the non-stop action available for you to enjoy. The great thing is you set the pace - you can throw a party, or throw a pillow under your head and have a siesta. Not for too long though, because the best country music acts in the world are on the main stage from morning till night. Don't forget, there's also a tradeshow with all kinds of fabulous stuff and you can start the day off watching the wild thrills of bull riding!
Each year, BVJ spends around $150,000 on site improvements for items such as increased paving, assigned camping and site lighting to make your experience even more exceptional.
This year the line up is outstanding. Start with the classics - like Willie Nelson. Then bring in the new acts like Keith Urhan, Jason Aldean, Gord Bamford and the Washboard Union. Its going to be great!
Tickets come in various shapes and forms. You can buy single-day tickets or you can buy a 3-day pass and be a part of it all. There is also a 3-day pass for youth (age 12 to 15 years). Reserved seating , VIP seating and tickets to the Kick-off Party Thursday night are also available.
