Small-town hospitality meets big-town party in Ponoka with a rodeo, ag fair, concerts, arts, and family events all wedged into four wild days. Jess Moskaluke and Lindsay Ell
Country artists Jess Moskaluke and Lindsay Ell will hit the stage during the Lloydminster Colonial Fair. Jess has recently recieved her first Juno nomination for Country Album of the Year and Breakthrough Artist of the Year and Lindsay's deep music always dazzles the crowd.
Hitting the stage at 9 p.m. Friday will be the alternative rock band Moist. Lead singer David Usher has an incredible musical background and the band will definitely get you up on your feet dancing.
Like rodeo? You're going to love the team roping event on Saturday during the Colonial Fair. Watch as teams compete for the fastest time.

RCMP Musical Ride
The RCMP Musical Ride represents a colourful Canadian tradition. The troop of 32 horses and riders will perform a variety of cavalry drills choreographed to music. Working through a unique medium, they support the RCMP community policing efforts throughout Canada.

The Musical Ride was developed in 1876 by early members of the North-West Mounted Police to display their riding ability and entertain the local community. It has evolved over the decades into a uniquely Canadian performance enjoyed by tens of thousands of spectators every year.
