BATTLE OF THE ROCKIES CHUCKWAGON RACING

Brought to you by the Rocky Mountain Chuckwagon Association and in partnership with the World Pro Chucks Association.

Chuckwagon racing is one of Alberta's major sporting events and is part of our community and our western heritage. The event is a boon to Rocky Mountain House's local economy as it draws folks from across the western provinces and beyond. The aim is to establish Battle of the Rockies as a "must attend" event for chuckwagon enthusiasts everywhere!

The Rocky Mountain Chuckwagon Association is proud to present the 3rd Annual Battle of the Rockies, part of the famous "GMC Pro Tour" - country-style extreme entertainment at its best. This year features five days of non-stop action, entertainment and just plain ol' fun as they will also be hosting the WPCA World Championship.

The Race Format

9 heats of 4 wagons per heat
Top 4 chuckwagons in aggregate standing after the first 4 days qualify for the sudden death "Dash for Cash" championship final heat on Sunday, August 19th.
Winner of the sudden death heat wins the Battle of the Rockies and a GMC Truck!
The driver with the most points in the World Standings after Saturday night will be declared the World Champion Chuckwagon Driver.

Saturday, August 18th - "Tough Enough to Wear Pink" Day

11:00 am to 2:00 pm - Outrider Charity Car Wash and BBQ at Bauer Furniture. Proceeds go to support the WPCA Outrider Benevolent Fund.
