Bike Rodeo

Have you ever heard of a bike rodeo? Essentially it’s an event to get everyone stoked about all things biking in a fun and safe manner. During the Plaid Goat Mountain Bike Fest, test your skills and talents by joining in on the whacky fun. Better yet, snag yourself some great prizes while doing so. There are several contests you can enter including an Inner Tube Tug O’ War, Wheelie Contest, Adult Tricycle Races, and a Bike Limbo Contest. Check out the full list of contests you can enter here.

Regional Craft Beer Hub

After biking, dive into the Plaid Goat Mountain Bike Fest Regional Craft Beer Hub. Enjoy a selection of the best hand-crafted brews from craft breweries from the Canmore area. Meet the brewers and sample the latest beer releases. Expect to have fun during the event as activities include beer sampling - of course but also Saturday night’s tap the cask contest, something called the Nagel spiele game – hosted by Canmore Wood Crafters, Giant Jenga – provided by Banff Ave Brewing Company, and a Photo booth – hosted by Camera Operator. Nagel spiele? You have to go just to find out what that is!
