Head to High River for the long May weekend where the 58th annual Little Britches Weekend is happening. Round up your cow pokes and get ready to enjoy one of Canada’s most unique rodeos, plus a long roster of other events. But the Little Britches rodeo is the main event, getting kids involved in challenges such as calf roping, sheep riding and barrel busting. A music festival, a big time parade and an event for foodies called "A taste of High River” rounds out the weekend’s experiences.

More than 60 floats are entered for the 58th annual Little Britches Parade. This year's route will be longer so find the best spot to settle in with your lawn chair.

After you've seen the parade, head to George Lane Park to enjoy more music from the parade bands as they perform all afternoon. The Lion’s Club will serve up Beef on a Bun and there will be concessions booths all around the grounds.
River Of Music Busker Festival Noon – 5 P.M.
More than 35 live entertainers will perform at various venues around downtown High River all afternoon following the parade. There will be children’s entertainers and facepainting, among other activities.
Cultural Taste Of High River Noon
The Foothills Immigrant Services puts on a Cultural Taste of High River, featuring food from 10 countries. Take your tastebuds on a trip, featuring dishes from the Philippines, Haiti, Thailand, Sri Lanka.

57th Little Britches Rodeo
Get out your full cowboy regalia for the 57th annual Little Britches Rodeo. Events include barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying, roping, steer riding, sheep riding. The rodeo will be a busy place with all kinds of entertainment, including special appearances by Miss Rodeo Canada and Young Gunz Trick Riders.
