Taber Cornfest

This annual festival, held the last weekend in August, is hailed as Southern Alberta's largest FREE outdoor festival. It's fun for the whole family and activities include corn eating, corn stuffing, skateboard competition, best tasting corn competition, chili cook off, corn bread bake off and lots more.

Taber is the Corn Capital of Canada, and they celebrate the harvest with an annual two day festival.

Taber Cornfest is one of Southern Alberta’s largest outdoor festivals where admission is FREE and there is entertainment and activities for people of all ages.

This year they have all the favourite events from years past including corn stuffing, Corn Country Cruisers car show, Pancake Breakfast, midway rides, and so many more events. As always, free live entertainment will be provided Friday and Saturday. The weekend ends off with a fireworks show Saturday evening. The festivities take place mainly in Confederation Park.

"Corn is King at Cornfest" and the sweet Taber vegetable is celebrated in displays, events and food of course!
