Okotoks HarvestFest

October 6th, 2012 marks the 1st Annual Okotoks HarvestFest, a one day event that celebrates the fall harvest and everything that comes along with it.

OKOTOKS HARVESTFEST

Bring the whole family out for a community celebration of the Fall Harvest. There will be plenty of free activities including old-fashioned games for the kids, a display of antique and historic farm tractors and implements, thrashing demonstrations and so much more!

Events will be taking place from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm in Olde Towne, the Okotoks Art Gallery and at Ethel Trucker Park.

What's Happening

Ethel Trucker Park

11:00 am to 4:00 pm

  • A large display of antique and historic tractors and farms implements
  • Live music all day
  • Farmers Market, with local produce, and vendors
  • Food vendors
  • Old-fashioned carnival games for the kids, bouncy castles and kids crafts

Rotary Performing Arts Centre (RPAC)

2:00 to 6:00 pm - 1st Annual Pie Baking Contest

  • Enter your favourite home-baked pie in this inaugural event! Individuals and businesses are welcome to enter.
  • Pies will be judged by local celebrities and prizes will be awarded for taste and appearance
  • Winners will be announced that evening after the movie screening at RPAC and will also be recognized in the Western Wheel

4:30 to 6:00 pm - FREE Movie Screening of Charlotte's Web (2006)

Bring the whole family for an afternoon of fall fun and enjoy samplings from the Pie Baking Contest while you are there!
