EDMONTON LATIN FESTIVAL

The Edmonton Hispanic Cultural Sociery is proud to announce the 3rd Annual Edmonton Latin Festival in Churchill Square, August 18th & 19th, 2012! This 2 day FREE family outdoor event is being held at Sir Winston  Churchill Square, the heart of Edmonton's downtown core.

Edmonton is known for embracing multiculturalism and was named Culture Capital in 2007. Share the beauty of Latin heritage and experience the tastes, sites and sounds of hispanic culture. Dance, sing, eat and learn about the diverse communities that make up Edmonton's Vibrant Latin Community.

ZUMBA! ZUMBA! ZUMBA! Edmonton will attempt to break the GUINESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS for the Largest Zumba Class.

The Edmonton Food bank, the City of Edmonton and the Edmonton Latin Festival are proud to announce the official application for this record breaking attempt! Now all they need is YOU! Let's show the world Edmonton's passion for fun and fitness.

Amazing Zumba Instructors will lead a 30 minute class on August 18 at NOON. Go join them in making HISTORY!!! Anyone can participate - any age (minors just need to be accompanied by adult), any ability, even if you cannot walk you can participate in a wheel chair. As long as you are moving for 30 minutes, even if its just your baby toe.

Why is the event Zumbalicious?
The Edmonton Latin Festival and City of Edmonton are partnering with the Edmonton Food Bank for this event. They would love you to bring an item or two for the food bank as your entry fee for the world record attempt (not required).
