Longwoodstock showcases a selection of the best handcrafted beer from Longwood Brewing. Meet the brewers, sample the latest beer releases and learn about traditional small-batch brewing.
Venues all around downtown Nanaimo get into the spirit of the event with live music on Friday night. On Saturday afternoon, Longwoodstock hits the Longwood Brewery backyard for the biggest party of the summer. Later that night, the festival spills back out into a variety of venues around Nanaimo for the coolest after-parties.
The Boom Booms
If making music isn’t about having fun, what’s the point of doing it? That sums up the philosophy of The Boom Booms. Guaranteed, you’ll be dancing with the band's brand of high-energy music.
The Tequila Mockingbird Orchestra
Have you ever heard an orchestra that plays extremely funky and fun tracks? The Tequila Mockingbird Orchestra get you up on the dance floor almost immediately, with their incredibly catchy tunes.
Have you ever heard reggae and funk at the exact same time? Nanaimo's own Boomshack will do just that. Get ready to get up and dance with your newly found favourite band.
All tickets are general admission, so be sure to get to the venue early to get a spot.
Saturday’s events will start at the back of the Longwood Brewery and go until around 9 p.m.
Advance brewery tickets are $45. The passes get you entry into the festival grounds at Longwood Brewery on Aug 12, from 2 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
The 2-Day Full Pass is $60 and gets you into all concerts on Friday and Saturday, plus into the festival grounds at Longwood Brewery on Saturday from 2 – 9 p.m..
