Taber is the Corn Capital of Canada, and they celebrate the harvest with an annual festival.

Taber Cornfest is one of Southern Alberta’s largest outdoor festivals where admission is free and there is entertainment and activities for people of all ages.

Festival schedule

As always, free live entertainment will be provided during the event. The weekend ends off with Friday morning pancake breakfast. The festivities take place mainly in Confederation Park.

Expect corn eating contests, midway rides, corn stuffing, logger sports, a 5k fun run, skateboard contest and a beer gardens, among the activities and events.
