Cranbrook's largest annual festival, Sam Steele Days is a fun event for people of all ages and it's free for most events, including the First Call Contracting Central Fairgrounds. Activities include the Grande Parade, a Kids' Fun Zone with free games and giant inflatable bouncers, strongman competition, slopitch, soccer, beach volley ball, disc golf and bocce ball tournaments, and much more. Taste of Cranbrook, featuring delicious food from regional chefs and the Sam Steele Market, popular for its handcrafted and unique items, offer their best to festival-goers. Watch live singing and dancing performances on stage all afternoon Saturday, June 17 at the Martech Electrical Community Talent Showcase and Sunday, June 18 at the Salvador Sunday Stage Show both at Rotary Park in downtown Cranbrook.

St. Eugene Golf, Resort & Casino Grande Parade

June 17, 10:30 a.m. -  Noon - Bring the whole family to downtown Cranbrook to watch the parade which includes floats, classic cars, horses, clowns, cadets, pipe bands and more. The route starts at Balment Park on 1st Street. Check out the official Grande Parade page for a detailed route map.

First Call Contracting Central Fairgrounds Activities

Celebrate CANADA 150 at the FREE Central Fairgrounds featuring local talent, theatre performers, special guests and an interactive Canada 150 art project . 

Sam Steele Ball Tournament

Grab your gloves and some friends for the annual Sam Steele Ball Tournament. With three divisions to choose from, the fun is guaranteed. You and your team will get to play at least  four games, along with a chance to win cash prizes and more. Registration is now open and you can sign up online.

The Youth Ambassador Pageant

This year will be the crowning of the 52nd Princess & Sweetheart of Sam Steele. Since 1966, more than 400 local young women have been mentored through this program. Want to be a Princess or Sweetheart? More information here.
