WHAT IS FESTIVALSEEKERS?

How We Can Help You

The options are endless. A mind-boggling number of festivals exist in Western Canada, but how many people know about them, and where does a person start?

FestivalSeekers is a festival-minded new-media company that delivers videos, articles, photos, event schedules, lineups ... you name it ... through FestivalSeekers.com, FestivalSeekers TV, and an upcoming line of smartphone applications. Whether it's for die hard locals, vacationing families, or festival-goers from across the globe, FestivalSeekers highlights all the amazing festival opportunities Western Canada.

FestivalSeekers is here to fill a void left by most festival-related destination guides and travel magazines that routinely showcase only the most internationally recognized Canadian festivals, leaving out many other amazing opportunities for the festival and cultural enthusiast. Often these other great destinations are only a short drive away, but most people are unaware.

FestivalSeekers provides as much fresh information as possible on a continual basis, either from ourselves or from the festival organizers themselves, so those who decide to come play in our backyard have everything they need to select the festival(s) that best suit their needs and their own sense of adventure.

Our goal is to ensure visitors to Western Canada have as much fun as we do. We're pretty proud of where we live, and we want to share it.

The Four Pillars of FestivalSeekers

FestivalSeekers.com

FestivalSeekers.com is the home base for FestivalSeekers. It's an e-newsmagazine that will cover more than 75 festivals this summer throughout Alberta, from world-class stampedes to out-of-the-way cultural gems and everything in between.

FestivalSeekers.com will be adding new festivals and information constantly throughout the year, so keep checking back to see what's new.

No matter if you already live in Western Canada or if you're vacationing here for the first time, FestivalSeekers delivers you what you need to plan your next trip.

Start by clicking on the Festivals or Calendar links in the navigation bar at the top of the screen. There you'll find a list of all the locations we cover (remember, more are being added to the site nearly every day).

FestivalSeekers TV

From the very beginning of Seekers Media (the parent company of FestivalSeekers), we've been focused on bringing our audience as much video content as possible. A festival is an extremely visual experience, and we understand that perhaps the best way to convey this to people is by letting them see it for themselves.

For the last three years, SnowSeekers (FestivalSeekers' sister site) has produced a television series for SHAW Communications, and we're back at it again with FestivalSeekers this season. Over a ten week span, FestivalSeekers will bring you Behind the Scenes of some of Alberta's most interesting festivals, where we'll profile a performer that will be appearing at the festival, a bit of the destination itself, and we'll let you know why you ought to take the time to visit that festival this summer.

The quality of our footage has increased exponentially over the past two years, and we're showing no signs of slowing down. Our shooting schedule is more ambitious than ever, so you're best to stay locked to FestivalSeekers.com all season to check out what's in store.

The FestivalSeekers app (It's FREE!)

With the FestivalSeekers smartphone app, launching very soon, you'll have the festival scene at your fingertips this summer.  For a preview of what's coming, please visit our Apps page (link is also in the header at the top of the screen).
