    Come celebrate Caribbean culture at the annual three-day Cariwest - Caribbean Arts Festival! Downtown Edmonton explodes with spectacular costumes, vibrant Caribbean musical rhythms, street theatre and enticing cuisine. Take in the night time extravaganza and costume judging, the Cariwest Parade through downtown, and the cultural fair in Churchill Square.

    Each year on the second Sunday in August, the streets of Marda Loop come alive with the New Orleans-themed Marda Gras Street Festival. This one-day free public event includes the sights and sounds of New Orleans, with its purple, green and gold pageantry and featuring Jazz, Rhythm, Blues and Zydeco music, street level acts, a variety of cultural performers.
