    In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the closure the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre put in place on March 14th has been extended indefinitely. The First Nations BBQ dinners and tours are currently on hold with hopes to return in June.

    Every Tuesday night, the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre takes groups on tour around the award-winning building. Inside the building, people become immersed in the history and traditions of the Squamish and Lil'Wat tribes. Kids and adults can interact with artifacts such as a cedar canoe and drums, and throughout the tour the guide shares legendary stories.

    The Jaywalker's Jamboree is Alberta's oldest outdoor fair. During the two-day event, Camrose main street closes to traffic and is transformed into an outdoor festival and carnival featuring local food vendors, rides and an enormous sidewalk sale put on by local businesses.

    Three Hills, Alta., is Western Canada’s Cruise Capital from June 1 to 3, 2018. Come to town and stroll the show and shine hosted by the Three Hills Street Freaks. Check out the nearly 1,500 vehicles lining Main Street. Then, stick around to watch Bracket Racing at the airport in the evening or stay up even longer to watch the racing under the lights.

    The Stettler Steel Wheel Stampede is a semi-pro CCA (Canadian Cowboys Association) rodeo co-sanctioned with the Chinook Rodeo Association. For the past 2 years the cowboys themselves have nominated it as the best rodeo to attend.
