    The Annual Kootenay Krusher promises to be an action-packed mountain bike race along 50 kilometres of trails in the picturesque heart of the region's river valley. It's open to all abilities –  from recreational to elite bikers. There's even an event for two-wheeled toddlers.

    The Jaywalker's Jamboree is Alberta's oldest outdoor fair. During the two-day event, Camrose main street closes to traffic and is transformed into an outdoor festival and carnival featuring local food vendors, rides and an enormous sidewalk sale put on by local businesses.

    Three Hills, Alta., is Western Canada’s Cruise Capital from June 1 to 3, 2018. Come to town and stroll the show and shine hosted by the Three Hills Street Freaks. Check out the nearly 1,500 vehicles lining Main Street. Then, stick around to watch Bracket Racing at the airport in the evening or stay up even longer to watch the racing under the lights.

    Get into a coastal state of mind for the annual Otalith Festival. More than 20 acts and DJs take to the outdoor stage in the tiny, vibrant town of Ucluelet. Expect garage rock, hip hop, indie, folk and anything else you’d care to dance to — all with the stunning backdrop of the forest, coast and deep blue Pacific surrounding Vancouver Island. While you enjoy the music, your ticket helps support two local initiatives, the Ucluelet Aquarium and Pacific Wild.
