The Grande Gathering Gala

A gathering for Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Grande Prairie, with a feast and performances in celebration of National Indigenous History Month.

Grande Prairie's Indigenous community, led by the Grande Prairie Friendship Centre, hosts a gala event designed to bring together Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in the region through cultural celebration. 

There will be food, entertainment and opportunities to gather and meet with people in the community to forge new friendships and connections. 

Gala highlights

This is a major fundraiser for the Grande Prairie Friendship Centre, with funds going back to programming for the community. 

Program

The gala evening features:

  • a 3-course dinner
  • Indigenous artisans
  • live music with Juno award winner, Aysanabee, and CCMA nominated The Prairie States
  • a dance
  • a silent auction
  • and raffle prizes.
