Lhtako Dene Pow Wow

All are welcome! Join in celebrating Lhtako Dene culture at the Nation's annual Pow Wow, this August near Quesnel, BC.

Answer the call of the drum, at this three-day, annual Pow Wow over August long weekend at the Lhtako Dene Nation Pow Wow Grounds, 1515 chief Dominic rd, Quesnel BC

Come witness the drumming, dancing and the beauty of the Pow Wow. 

The host drum group for 2026 is Wild River. Other groups include Young Wars Society, Red Hawk Express, High Water Singers and Eyahey Nakoda.

There's also a vendor area, where you can buy locally made Indigenous art, crafts and handmade goods.

Camping is available on the grounds, on a first-come, first-served basis. No hookups for RVS.
