As a preview to your virtual festival experience, local Alberta influencer Linda Hoang visited the Battle River region recently and came away awed at all the cool things happening there.

In her journeys she met local makers and purveyors of chocolates and treats, farm fresh vegetables and perhaps the top highlight, baby goats!

Check out her Facebook video below, and then read her story to get primed for a Battle River adventure.

HIT PLAY > Linda joins Maple Park Farms in Beaver County to plant some seeds and learn about a multi-generation family farm and greenhouse operation where you'll find locally grown flowers and fresh veggies.

Want to meet the baby goats? Get your hands dirty in a flower-planting workshop? Tune in for more of this homegrown fun, Tuesdays and Thursdays from April 28 to May 7!
