If you are in Brooks, Alberta on August 11th and 12th, you have walked into the largest gathering of medieval and historical re-enactments in Western Canada. And you will be amazed at the demonstrations! Come as you are or as you would in the year 1450.
Three Hills, Alta., is Western Canada’s Cruise Capital from June 1 to 3, 2018. Come to town and stroll the show and shine hosted by the Three Hills Street Freaks. Check out the nearly 1,500 vehicles lining Main Street. Then, stick around to watch Bracket Racing at the airport in the evening or stay up even longer to watch the racing under the lights.
The WinterPLAY Festival is a three-day gathering celebrating winter fun in northern Alberta. Head to Snye Park in Fort McMurray to see beautiful ice sculptures, fireworks and take part in family-friendly activities and entertainment.
Held annually, the Wainwright Stampede is four action-packed days with the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association. Events included bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, calf roping, steer wrestling, barrel racing, team roping and bull riding. The Canadian Professional Chuckwagon Association also competes over all four days
