It may look far away, but for the thousands of people that attend the Atlin Arts and Music Festival every year, it’s well worth the trip. Even though the town of 450 is small, they pack the festival’s dates with international musicians, award-winning artists and films and authors. This family-friendly festival is perfect for those who like to enjoy nature as much as they like to enjoy their music. Remote, rootsy and rustic, this festival embodies a truly Canadian kind of  arts and music event.

The Atlin Arts and Mucis Fest is remote, rootsy and relaxed.

Opening the festival each year, the Taku River Tlingit First Nation welcomes the public with traditional drumming and dancing. When closing the festival, the Taku Kwaan Dancers, all musicians, and the entire audience join in a moving celebration of traditional First Nations and contemporary songs. The Atlin Arts & Music Festival guarantees an experience you’ll remember for a long time.
