Cherry Fiesta

Cherry pie eating contests, parades, fireworks and live music fill Canada Day with epic in Osoyoos!

Festival Dates: -
Location: Osoyoos

All events are free

Did you know 95% of Canada's cherries are grown in the Okanagan? That alone is reason to celebrate.

With some of the freshest cherries filling the pie-iest faces on Canada Day, there's all kinds of fun to join in on at Cherry Fiesta in Osoyoos, including live bands, food trucks, a beer garden, games and activities for all ages, and of course, epic fireworks over the lake to round out the evening.

Locations include Main Street, downtown Osoyoos (parade), and Gyro Park.

The Cherry Fiesta is over 75 years and going strong in Osoyoos.

When it comes to pie-eating, Cherry Fiesta contestants take it pretty seriously:

“A few years back we had a kid who went into it with so much gusto, the pie ended up in the grass and came up with cherry filling and grass pieces all over his face for the win," laughs Ken Baker, President of the Osoyoos Festivals Society.
