Ice carving demos, an international ice sculpture competition, music, games and snow activities.

The International Ice Carving Competition, known as Chiseled, is produced by Activate Arts Alberta (formerly the Ice on Whyte Festival Society). Ten elite ice carvers compete over three days at Edmonton's ICE District Plaza, transforming massive blocks of crystal-clear ice into monumental works of art. Each sculpture is built from 15 large ice blocks, creating international-scale pieces that are only seen in a few places in Canada.

Expect lots of outdoor fun. There will be ice and snow exhibits, an interactive children's play area, the famous giant ice slide and much more.
