Palaeo Palooza

Palaeo Palooza is the dinosaur event of the summer, featuring all things dino! Hosted by the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum in Wembley AB (Grande Prairie region).

Get ready to get your dino on! Dundurn, Saskatchewan may have the world record for most people wearing dinosaur costumes in a single day, but the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum and the Town of Wembley are home to one of the world's richest fossil bonebeds.

This place is a science hotbed, and Palaeo Palooza packs a dino-sized punch with an all ages dino-themed festival catering from the young to the young at heart.

Palaeo on the Patio, Aug 11
Kick things off on Friday evening, Aug 11, at this private, ticketed event with special guest palaeontologists. 

Fossil Festival, Aug 12 - 13
The main event goes down Saturday and Sunday, all day, and it's everything dinosaurs! Kids games, carnival rides, panel talks with scientists, food trucks and more.

In the lab, up close with fossils, at the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum.

Kids' Dino Parade and festivities, Aug 13
After the fun at Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum is over, head literally five minutes (or less) into the town of Wembley, AB for a dino parade—catwalk style—and more crafts, music, food trucks and dino party vibes!

Dino adventures continue in "Dino Town," Wembley AB.
