As an epic 2025 summer festival season winds down, we want to celebrate the season with you. So we're hosting a virtual party, with you (and your festival and event experiences) as the stars of the show!

We know the season delivered so many awesome experiences and we want to see yours. In return, we're offering up cash prizes.
Enter with one simple step
- Share your best festival photos or videos from Western Canada events in 2025 by commenting on this FestivalSeekers' Facebook post.
What do you get? The best will be featured on our channels and entered for a chance to win:

$100 second place
$25 x 4 honourable mentions
Bonus: are you an amateur seeking to go pro? We're looking for more collaborators for photo, video and social media projects and by entering, you could end up in our talent pool.
What's the catch? By sharing your photos and videos with us on social media, you grant FestivalSeekers permission to repost or republish content on social or online (in our digital magazines), with credit to you as the creator.
What are we looking for?
Firstly, anything goes, we want to celebrate the vibe. You don't need to be a professional photographer or videographer.
But if you are hoping to win, we are looking for quality: winning submissions won't be shaky, blurry or pixellated, and should have some context or story behind the moment.

Judging and prize details
Judging will be carried out by FestivalSeekers team: publisher Jeremy Derksen, founder Jim Barr, our social media team and by the FestivalSeekers community.
Criteria are:
- image quality
- artistic merit
- context (what "story" does your work capture)
- community sentiment: how does our community react to the submission (as gauged by likes/comments)
Contest winner announcement
Winners will be
- selected on Monday, Sept 29
- announced and featured on FestivalSeekers.com (and socials)
- and notified by our team (don't fall for any scams by anyone pretending to be us; only the winners will receive verified notification.)
