The unique culinary event promotes the region's shellfish farmers and their delicacies to seafood lovers and chefs grows bigger every year. It's the largest seafood festival on the west coast. There is non-stop oyster slurping and fun events such as shucking competitions. 

Event highlights

The weekend includes dinners, culinary demonstrations and workshops. Highlights include a kitchen party, gala dinner and a masterclass series.

Featured presenters in 2023 included Chef Ned Bell and "Shucker Paddy" Patrick McMurray. The full 2024 program is yet to be announced, stay tuned!

Chef demos will be hosted as well, giving aspiring chefs a chance to learn new techniques to prepare seafood at home or in the kitchen.

Additionally, there will be cooking competitions, and chefs are invited to register.
