Welcome to the Freaky Creeky 50 with 4 distances to choose from: 11km, 27km, 50km & 100km Trail Running Race located in beautiful Okanagan’s Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park, just outside the City of Vernon.

The trails take you through the grasslands dotted with ponderosa pine and groves of Douglas-fir, and amazing lake views. The trails themselves consist of gnarly climbs, rolling terrain and a cross between technical and cruisy descents.

Don't let the description of the trails deter you from attending this years Freaky Creek trail races because these trails have been thoroughly planned out to ensure that it is a challenging, but fun experience even for beginner trail runners.

The course will be well flagged and have volunteers throughout the trails to ensure that everyone finishes their runs.

Entry Fees

Early Registration

100 km race early entry fee is $165 + GST

50 km race early entry fee is $140 + GST

27 km race early entry fee is $95+ GST

11 km race early entry fee is $75 + GST

Registration ends: September 11th, 2022

Anyone who registers after August 4th, 2022 will not be guaranteed an event t-shirt

Location: Polson Park Band Stand

Time: 1pm-7pm

Please bring your drop bags at this time, they will not be accepting drop bags on Saturday, September 17th.

Pre-Race Briefing: 7pm Polson Park Band Stand

Saturday September 17th, 2022

Location: Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park, Juniper Bay

Check-in: All Racers must be checked in 30 mins prior to race start time.

Racer Start Time:

100km: 6 am

50km: 8 am

27km: 9 am

11km: 10 am

Cut Off Times:

50 & 100km

Full Aid Station: CJ Express Tombstone Plateau 10pm (72.3km)

Full Aid Station: Junction of Pond Loop and Soul Sister, 1:30am (85.1)

Check Point/Snack Station: Cosens Bay Parking Lot, 2:30am

Finish Line: 4am

You must leave the transition area by the cut off times or you will not be able to continue and be considered DNF.

You must wait at that transition area for pick up by race staff. Please for your safety and our peace of mind, do not carry on if you have missed the cut off.
