Grande North Winter Festival

Grande Prairie's annual Grande North Winter Festival features ice carving, DJ skate parties, live bands, horse-drawn wagon rides, crokicurl and other winter activities across the city.

Festival Schedule 2024

The three main locations for the 2024 winter festival are Bonnetts Energy Centre, Montrose Cultural Centre and Muskoseepi Park. 

Bonnetts Energy Centre

Daily activities run at Bonnets from Fri-Sun, Jan 12-14.

  • Friday, Jan 12, 6-10pm
  • Saturday, Jan 13, 12-10pm
  • Sunday, Jan 14, 12-3pm

Ice Gardens access is $10/day or $15 for the weekend, featuring live DJ, world-renowned ice carvers, food and drink stations, snowball target throwing and live entertainment in The Bowes on Saturday night.

Catch live hockey with the Grande Prairie Storm on Saturday evening, 6pm start.

Montrose Cultural Centre

Free activities daily, Fri-Sun.

Family fun with a snow maze, ice slide, live music, skating and food trucks.

Entrance at 102 St. & 102 Ave. Take a ride down memory lane or try something new in Muskoseepi Park as winter traditions come alive during Winter Fest.
