Northern Spirit Light Show

You can’t help but get into the holiday spirit with dozens of dazzling creative light displays at Evergreen Park in Grande Prairie.

The light show, entirely run by volunteers, is an annual event put on by the Peace Draft Horse Club. Local community groups, families and businesses have spent hours building custom light displays for everyone to enjoy. Local favourites from past years are also back for the show this year.

Looking to get the most out of your visit to Grande Prairie? Make sure to check out Grande Prairie's official website

You can enjoy the show from the warmth of your vehicles – or bundle up and go for a ride by a draft horse drawn sleigh and take the tour through the park.

The light show is open to the public every night through Dec. 31. (The show is closed on Dec. 25). Wagon rides go from 6 to 9 p.m, while the show is open to vehicles from 6 to 10 p.m.

Cost: $5 per person for wagon rides, $15 per vehicle. Food donations are gratefully accepted.
