Queen City Cruise

For classic car enthusiasts, Nelson, BC, is the place to be on the second weekend of September for the Queen City Cruise, held annually the first weekend after Labour Day.

Location: Nelson, British Columbia

The annual Queen City Cruise is a full weekend of showcasing classic cars takes place, including favourite events such as 'Cardi-Gras,' a city-wide event, a parade, soap derby and more.

And it's not just for cars! Trucks, motorcycles, big rigs and even boats and tractors are welcome. If it's a vintage auto, you'll find it here. 

Event details

The general schedule of events is as follows, but best to confirm the latest details with the Nelson Road Kings, the auto club who run the event.

Friday

1pm  early registration (Nelson Chamber of Commerce)
3pm  live music starts
6pm  parade through Nelson 

Parade details: Parade starts at Railtown, proceeds through the historic district and ends at the Dairy Queen on Nelson Ave

Saturday

8am  Classic rides, entertainment, cash prizes begin
9am  Show and Shine registration at Baker Street
10am  events begin:
Show and Shine on Baker Street
Poker Walk, live music
3:30pm  trophy presentation
4:30pm  Poker Run

Classic car owners can register online to be part of the event.
