The Chilliwack Fair

Celebrate 150 years of The Chilliwack Fair this August with live entertainment, music, vendors, and seemingly endless fun.


The culture and heritage of Chilliwack is what makes this community strong and unique. The Fair is an opportunity to celebrate all that the community has to offer. Despite being the foundation on which it was built, the Fair is about much more than agriculture.

Here's what you can expect:

  • live music and entertainment
  • FMX (freestyle motocross) bike flipping and demos
  • amazing food vendors 
  • face painting
  • pony rides
  • a community market
  • kitchen stage and farm store
  • photo booth, fashion show through the ages
  • Vancouver Circus School

Kickoff Event

As part of the 150 year anniversary of The Chilliwack Fair, Thursday Aug 4 will be a kickoff event to help get the excitement and festivities started.

The Canadian hard rock/grunge band Default will kick start the weekend of festivities with a live show. All the original band members reunite for this legendary show, including country music legend and lead singer, Dallas Smith.

Gates open at 6:00pm and show starts at 7:30pm.

Fair day tickets are affordable and GST is included so you know exactly what you are going to pay.

6 & Under: FREE

Youth (7-18)/Senior Friday: $8

Youth Single Day (7-18): $10

Senior Single Day: $10

Adult Single Day (19+): $12

3 Day Event Pass: $25

Exhibitor Weekend Pass: $20

Know before you go

  • Chilliwack is a city in the lower mainland approximately 1.5 hours east of Vancouver
  • Getting to the event is as easy as hopping on Highway 1 till you hit the exit for 44140 Luckakuck Way
  • Parking is by donation and all proceeds go to the GW Graham Grizzlies Football Team.
