Taber Cornfest is hailed as Southern Alberta's largest free outdoor festival, with live music and entertainment, activities and of course... corn!

Taber is the Corn Capital of Canada, and they celebrate the harvest with an annual festival.

Taber Cornfest is one of Southern Alberta’s largest outdoor festivals where admission is free and there is entertainment and activities for people of all ages.

Festival schedule 2025 

As always, free live entertainment will be provided during the event. The festivities take place mainly in Confederation Park. Expect corn eating contests, midway rides, corn stuffing, logger sports, a 5k fun run, skateboard contest and a beer gardens, among the activities and events.

6pm  Opening ceremonies
6:30  Pure Power Wrestling
8:30  DJ music

Friday, Aug 22

8am  pancake breakfast
12-7pm  Cornfest Arts & Crafts Market
1:30 - 12am  live music
4pm  Beer gardens open

Saturday, Aug 23

8am  pancake breakfast
8:30  Town of Taber Fun Run
11am - 12am  live music
1:30pm  Corn eating competition
9:50  Fireworks
