In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the closure the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre put in place on March 14th has been extended indefinitely. The First Nations BBQ dinners and tours are currently on hold with hopes to return in June.
Complete your trip to Whistlers with a First Nations BBQ dinner and tour of the award-winning Squamish Lil'Wat Cultural Centre. From May 13 to September 23, every Tuesday night from 6pm - 8pm, visitors to the Cultural Centre can become immersed in the history and traditions of the Squamish and Lil'Wat tribes. People of all ages can interact with First Nations artifacts such as a cedar canoe and drums, and hear legendary stories from tour guides.
Enjoy salmon from our waters, flora from our forests, wild game from our lands and break bannock with us while surrounded by spectacular views of Blackcomb Mountain.
Depending on the weather, you'll either be feasting outside on the Mezzanine Patio, or inside the spacious Istken Hall.

NOTE - This event does sell out quickly as there is a capacity of 100 participants per barbeque so make sure to order your tickets early on.
