In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the closure the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre put in place on March 14th has been extended indefinitely. The First Nations BBQ dinners and tours are currently on hold with hopes to return in June.
Every Tuesday night, the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre takes groups on tour around the award-winning building. Inside the building, people become immersed in the history and traditions of the Squamish and Lil'Wat tribes. Kids and adults can interact with artifacts such as a cedar canoe and drums, and throughout the tour the guide shares legendary stories.
