Music, drag, comedy, podcasts, wrestling and winter? Winterruption YEG lives up to its name, with a festival that will lift you out of the January blahs.
Winterruption YEG returns with a stacked line-up of music and comedy taking place in downtown Edmonton from Jan 20–24, 2027. The winter festival takes place in multiple downtown Edmonton venues.
Started in 2019 in conjunction with Winterruption festivals in Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg and Calgary’s Big Winter Classic, Winterruption YEG works closely with the local business and the arts community of Edmonton.
The mission of the festival is to provide an inclusive, diverse and representative showcase of music and comedy in a winter setting in downtown Edmonton.
