PeaceFest is an annual music festival and fair held in Peace River, Alberta that started in 1997 after horrible floods devastated the town. Originally called "We're Back", this festival was created to let Albertans know that Peace River was not ruined by the flood but was rebuilding and coming back better and stronger than ever.
Enjoy the Spirit of Bonnyville Chuckwagon Races from June 28 - 30th. This event features a "half mile of hell" - where 36 chuckwagon drivers will compete in 9 heats of 4 chuckwagons per heat over the course of the championships.
